Memories…
If there is something in my heart which left an indelible impression which can not be easily erased by the passing of time, it is when I received an extremely memorable token from a person whom I consider very dear to my heart. I consider that moment the happiest moment in my life. Perhaps no other event has been very influential to me as this very special and momentous experience. Certainly, I would cherish it forever in my memories and let it dwell to the deepest recesses of my mind every time I am reminded of such a great moment. I can say that I found happiness not from miracles, not from a grand divine revelation. I discovered happiness beyond my wildest dream from little things. These little things are but simple reminders of care and affection. I can never forget the act of giving; it is full of thoughts, full of heart. I can never be happier when I received long stem roses. They will forever remind me of love, happiness and beauty. They symbolism of long stem roses is deeply embedded in my heart. The happiness they brought me has no monetary equivalent. It is priceless.
When I received these long stem roses, I found happiness in its purest state—elating and liberating. It made me kiss heaven on earth, spell magic touch to things and experience humanity despite all existing concerns and problems. I do not really understand why people need to seek happiness from a grand source or look for it on things which give them but temporary satisfaction. Neither do I comprehend why happiness is to be measured on purely material things such as owning a new car or a house. I blame no one for having this materialistic disposition but it appears to me that modern man’s measuring stick of happiness has turned into a monstrous misconception. It is worth examining how life could be if things are to be placed in proper perspectives.
The next time you receive two dozen long stem roses, try to appreciate the act of giving. You can experience bliss and happiness if you only want to. You certainly deserve it.
